On 8 March 2014 (International Women’s Day), I made a bunch of mini-bios of some of the women I find inspiring, I’ve been building on it since, and they are collected here together.
I want to stress that this is just a fraction of the women I find inspiring. There are so many inspiring women, and we remember and celebrate so few of them. Those women I did celebrate should not be seen as more ‘worthy’, in some objective sense, than those that I did not have time to. Nor are they presented in any order of worthiness. I’m not even sure how one would go about creating such an order. It seems antithetical to the spirit of sisterhood to which I wanted to contribute.
